Mariagrazia Buttitta is a native Italian speaker who provides career coaching to undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni, along with many other responsibilities, in all career-related avenues. Some of these responsibilities include career exploration, résumé and cover letter review, interview preparation, job and internship search, networking and LinkedIn strategies, graduate school preparation, and delivering class presentations and workshops. She works with the Wayne D. McMurray School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Science, School of Social Work, and undeclared majors.
Mariagrazia, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), is a double alumna of The College of New Jersey, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Mariagrazia’s diverse background in counseling, writing, speaking, disability advocacy, and previous career counseling experience bring a unique and creative perspective to her work at Monmouth. She often draws from a strength-based approach while helping students reach their fullest potential. Through her cone dystrophy diagnosis, Mariagrazia strives to help others embrace their abilities while guiding them in navigating their professional journeys.
Mariagrazia enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and dogs, hiking, biking, exercising, and embarking on life’s adventures! Her one true weakness — espresso, and lots of it.
